Happy 2014 West Aurora class of ’67! ( Class of ’68…… you too!) There seems to be a consensus that with every passing year we remain happy to be blessed with yet another year and wanting to make the most of what lies ahead. So it is with great excitement, your Bay Area classmates invite you to our first ever Northern California West Coast Reunion October 9 through 12, 2014. Some of us who now call the Bay Area home are already at work planning a get away to Northern California that we hope will be very special for everyone, classmates and their families and friends alike.

We are brainstorming a long list of favorite sights and experiences. Just as soon as we get a nod from you, we will set the party planning in full-swing. October is warm and dry, ideal for a trip to Tahoe, a walk on the beach or anything in between. San Francisco is less than an hour from the wine country. Alcatraz is the coolest prison in the U.S. and tours are by ferry across the Bay! Does watching the sun set beyond the Golden Gate Bridge while you dine from your table at the water’s edge sound good to you?

SAVE THE DATES 10/9 through 10/12 Events will be Thursday through Saturday night but you can extend your stay in the area just as long as you wish.

PLAN YOUR TRAVEL to either Oakland or San Francisco Airports. Both are equally convenient. You don’t need a car when you are here. Your West Coast hosts will help you with all your transportation needs - limos, busses, ferries, Bay Area Rapid Transit,etc…no worries.

EXPLORE ACCOMMODATIONS - We have found both Marriott accommodations starting at $119 per night in shopper’s mecca Walnut Creek and elegant old style San Francisco hotels. There is something for every taste and budget. Thank goodness for Google.
